Mandurah: man fined for stealing fuel from 6 servos

STEALING fuel on six occasions from Coles Express services stations landed a man in court on Friday .

John Douglas Miles was charged with six counts of stealing.

The police prosecutor said Miles stole petrol from service stations in Singleton, Bertram, Barragup and Halls Head.

The court was told Miles would fill up his vehicle and then drive away without paying.

The cost of the fuel stolen ranged from $30 to $100.

The court was told Miles was a single parent.

He was fined $200 and ordered to pay reparation.
