Two units from the dog squad assisted them during the search.

Police allege they located methamphetamine, cannabis, drug paraphernalia and a taser during the search.

The man was charged with five offences and will appear in court at a later date.

Mandurah police also charged another man with 12 counts of stealing after he allegedly stole petrol.

They claim the man took fuel from different petrol stations between Mandurah and Rockingham over a five-month period.

Mandurah Police officer in charge Stephen Thompson said they charged many people with stealing fuel, however it was unusual for one person to have stolen fuel on this many occasions.

“Just because it’s convenient to fill up before you pay, doesn’t mean you should drive off,” he said.

“Police will investigate these incidents.”

The man will appear in court on July 29.
