Arrest Made for Obscene Acts near Primary School

MANDURAH police have charged a 22-year-old man with two counts of obscene acts in public following an incident at Greenfields Primary School yesterday afternoon (February 16).

They were called to investigate multiple reports of a suspicious male person hanging around a school, who allegedly had his pants down.

They received the calls, describing a blonde man, wearing red shoes and black shorts, at Greenfields Primary School, pants down, around 2.30pm.

Soon after they received another call saying the man had moved to Bortolo Park.

Police found a man matching this description on Waldron Boulevard soon after and arrested him.

Witnesses claimed the man was touching himself.

The man will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court next Tuesday (February 23).

Senior Sergeant Harry Russell said people who witness inappropriate behaviour should call police immediately.

He said they should try to get footage on their mobile phones – only if it does not put them at risk.
