Mandurah police seeking information on carjacking

MANDURAH Detectives need help identifying a man they want to speak to about a suspected carjacking on Wednesday November 30.

About 10pm, a 19-year-old man was at a service station on Magenta Terrace in Mandurah filling his Toyota Corolla with petrol.

He paid and was about to drive off when a man entered his car brandishing a knife.

The man demanded to be taken to the Greenfields area of Mandurah, but when the victim drove close to the Mandurah Police Station, he got out and ran off.

The victim drove to the man close to the Mandurah Police Station, where the offender alighted from the car and ran off.

The offender is described as fair skinned with a tanned face, a slim build, 188cm tall, in his early 30s, with black shaved hair, clean shaven and missing a top front tooth.

He also had tattoos on both arms and tattoo writing on his right temple, with further tattoos across his back.

The man was wearing a white singlet with a photo on the front, black gym shorts with a red stripe down the side, black trainers and a plain black baseball cap with the peak worn to the rear.
