REPORTS were made to Mandurah police yesterday that young children were stopping road traffic.
The incidents were alleged to have occurred in Coodanup, at the near Mandurah Road and Pinjarra Road, on June 14 at 2.40pm.
Police were called to reports that the children were walking into the road with their arms up in front of cars.
The cars were forced to stop to avoid hitting them.
Mandurah officer in charge Stephen Thompson said the incidents were concerning.
“In the school holidays, particularly during bad weather, parents need to keep an eye on their kids and keep them safe,” he said.
“This means everyone can enjoy the school holidays as much as they are.”
