Mandurah Residents Encouraged to Share Skills at FabLab

The City of Mandurah is launching the FabLab at Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre on January 23 at 1pm.

This is the City’s first Makerspace – a makerspace is a DIY where people can share their creativity, skills and create content.

The launch will feature a demonstration of the new 3D printer and live music.

There will be hands on low-tech and high-tech activities for everyone.

Launch activities include learning how to use the 3D printer, help to create a banner on the sewing machines, learning to knit or crochet a granny square and how to build the tallest Lego tower.

People are encouraged to come along and share their creative skills with someone in the community, post a photo on the FabLab wall and sign up for the FabLab enewsletter.
