Mandurah SES’s Pat Port wins national award for more than 15-year’s service

MANDURAH SES Operations team leader Pat Port was awarded the Australian National Medal for more than 15 years of volunteer service to the State Emergency Service at a special ceremony at Mandurah SES.

Unit manager Chris Stickland said dedicated volunteers like Ms Port were worth their weight in gold during emergencies.

“Pat has given excellent service to the Mandurah community and is a volunteer we are all proud of,’’ he said.

“She joins a select group of 22 Mandurah volunteers who have been awarded this honour.

“No other SES unit has more National Medal award winners than the Mandurah SES and we are lucky to have her on our team.”
