A SINGLE mum from Mandurah will be set for life after claiming her first prize of $20,000 each month for the next 20 years after she bought a winning division one ticket through Lotterywest Play Online.
“We’ve been struggling financially, living paycheck to paycheck,” she said.
“We were close to getting our water cut off.
“I was holding a cup of coffee when I saw I’d won and I started shaking so much my daughter needed to take my mug from me.
“It was only last week my dad dreamt something amazing was going to happen to me and he was absolutely right.”
WA’s newest Set for Life winner said she was looking forward to reducing her work hours so she could spend more time with her children.
Meanwhile, a young couple from the northern suburbs claimed their $785,465 division one prize after originally thinking their winning ticket was a dud.
That was until they realised it held all six winner numbers after buying the ticket from the Dog Swamp newsagency in Yokine.
“We calculated our debt and realised that we’ll be completely debt free now,” they said.
“We have flexibility in life and will have the ability to spend more time with our children which is incredible. We can even fulfil our dream of travelling to New York.”
Also claiming a prize this week was a Woodvale couple who collected their $104,763 Division 1 Super66 prize, after buying their ticket from the Woodvale Boulevard Newsagency.
“We can’t believe how much we’ve won,” the said.
“This will mean we can travel, help our family and get our friends some great Christmas presents.”
WA’s other Division 1 winning ticket from the same Saturday Lotto draw, purchased from Margaret River Newsagency, is yet to be claimed.
