Mandurah: Sonja Cox guest speaker at Zonta Club of Peel International Women’s Day breakfast

THE 2013 Telstra WA Business Woman of the Year Sonja Cox is the guest speaker at the Zonta Club of Peel International Women’s Day breakfast.

The breakfast takes place at Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club on Thursday, March 8 at 6.45am for 7am.

After graduating with high distinction in criminal justice, administration and working for the Department of Justice in Victoria, Cox relocated to WA’s Department of Corrective Services in 1996.

During her 18-year career with corrections, she had roles in community corrections, adult and custodial victim services.

Today she is Assistant Director Strategy and Planning with the WA Police and responsible for developing and implementing the agencies vision and strategic direction to ensure a safer community for all Western Australians.
