Mandurah vacant house fire

A MAN has been charged after a house fire in Mandurah last night.

Neighbours heard noises coming from a vacant house on George Street at about 9pm and observed the premises on fire.

Emergency services were called and police investigated.

While police were there, a 40-year-old man allegedly attempted to enter the premises and was charged with unlawful entry to a protected forensic area and will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on September 15.
