Mandurah Visitor Centre ensures a trip to remember

Now in its sixth year, the certificates celebrate hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on the TripAdvisor website over the past year.

Certificate of excellence recipients include accommodation providers, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have delivered a quality customer experience.

City chief executive Mark Newman said it was great the team had been recognised for the outstanding service.

“We live in a special part of the world, which has so much to offer, and the centre provides an important link between visitors and local tourism businesses,” he said.

Mandurah and Peel Tourism Organisation chief executive Karen Priest said the centre played an important part in helping tourism.

“Visitor centres boost regional tourism and employment, and deliver expert local knowledge and guidance to visitors, as well as showcasing and selling locally made products,” she said.

The certificates of excellence account for the quality and quantity of reviews submitted by travellers on Trip|Advisor over 12 months.

To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five.
