Mother’s Drastic Measures to Find a Home

WANNANUP woman Bobbie Mackey has gone to drastic measures to find a home.

The mother of two took to standing on the side of Old Coast Road on Friday, with a sign saying she needed a home.

“I have exhausted all avenues,” she said.

“I need help.”

Ms Mackey said she had to be out of her current home on Tuesday, March 1. However, she did not think she could get Access Housing Housing accommodation for a few months.

“I’ve been looking for somewhere since before Christmas,” she said.

“My car is a Suzuki Swift and too small for me, my children, a dog and a cat to live in.

“I don’t want to live on the beach with my children.

“But we have nowhere to go.”
