Mandurah’s Brighton Hotel fetches $3.675m at auction

MANDURAH’S Brighton Hotel was sold for $3.675 million at auction today.

An investor from Perth said he had not planned on purchasing the historic venue when he attended the auction and had no immediate plans for its future.

The two-storey venue on Mandurah Terrace has views of the Peel Harvey estuary.

Previously owned by Woolworths’ Australian Liquor and Hospitality Group, the Brighton sale included the business, liquor licence, extended trading permit, 1300sq m of land and the building.
