FIVE decades of Coolibah Care service in Mandurah was celebrated in a special 50th anniversary event on July 15.

Staff and residents converged in their social hall to celebrate with a special service and morning tea, 50 years to the day that Coolibah was founded as the Mandurah Retirement Village in 1969.

Coolibah chief executive Merinda March said they also used the opportunity to recognise 22 employees who had given more than 10 years of service.
