THE Bridge Garden Bar is under new management and has a fantastic new menu.
Manager Brittney Hutchen grew up in the industry under the guidance of her dad Jason – who is a 31 year hospitality veteran.
Mr Hutchen has owned the popular Red Manna restaurant on the waterfront for 13 years.
Ms Hutchen’s favourites are the meat-lovers pizza and the Golden Gaytime cocktail.
“We’ve started doing some new cocktails – the Golden Gaytime and jugs of sangria,” she said.
“I try to make as much as I can myself.
“We have good staff here too, we play with ingredients together and work out what suits everyone.”
Ms Hutchen said there is a movement by local business owners to revitalise the bridge end of Mandurah Terrace.
“I’m really excited about the venue,” she said.
“We are running it as tavern style and everyone can come and have a good time.”
Some interesting venue highlights include live music Fridays and barbeque Sundays.
Korean steak, corn and chicken wings are some of the foods served fresh from the barbeque.
“The barbeque was inspired by Bali – you go to the beach and they have their little barbeque,” she said.
“It’s good drinking food.”
