MANDURAH’S Winter Wonderland festival launched on Saturday morning, with new festivities on offer this year.

The winter-themed festival will offer a mixture of both free and ticketed activities for the whole family.

Event Manager Kate MacKinnon said the annual event, in its second year, would offer even more to Mandurah locals this year.

“The ice skating rink, Flics Cabin Bar with theme nights including drag queen night, beat boxing, Jamberoo singing, roasting marshmallows and mulled win are only some of the things on offer,” she said.

“This year we have new fire pits and a market square as well.”

Ms MacKinnon said locals would embrace the festival each year.

“It’s been great because the city and local Mandurah businesses have come together, and organised some theme nights happening and they’re also championing the markets.”

Tickets are available from ticketbooth.com.au

Winter Wonderland will run until July 29.
