Manhunt continues after Halls Head carjacking

THE manhunt for Brett Lindsay Capper (42) continues after the vehicle he allegedly stole from Halls Head was found in Armadale a short time ago.

The Toyota Landcruiser stolen overnight was found on Stepney Road and police are searching the area.

Police claim Capper car jacked the Landcrusier from Peelwood Parade at 6.50pm last night.

At about 2.35pm police saw the vehicle in Seville Grove and claim Capper evaded police through a number of suburbs. Police continued to follow the car through Byford but lost sight of it as it travelled south along South West Highway.

Bret Lindsay Capper is described as 180cm tall with a medium build, blonde hair and hazel eyes. He is wanted for questioning over four other incidents including armed robbery and aggravated burglary.

Mr Capper is known to frequent Mandurah, Pinjarra, Bunbury and Australind, but is also believed to be travelling across the Perth Metropolitan Region.

Members of the public are urged not to approach Mr Capper if they see him but instead to call police on 131 444.
