A MAN charged with attempted murder after an incident at a Mandurah home will today have his charge upgraded.
Police were called to a house in Forward Street at 8.45pm on October 17 with reports of an assault.
It is alleged they found a 45-year-old man assaulting a 43-year-old man, who police said was known to the offender.

READ NOWPolice said the officers separated the two men and arrested the alleged offender.
The 43-year-old man was taken to Peel Health Campus in a critical condition and transferred to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, where he died on October 20.
Police charged the 45-year-old man with attempted murder and he appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on October 18.
The charge against the man will be upgraded to murder when he appears in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
