Staff ReporterMandurah Coastal Times

HAVING 116 undersized crabs cost two men $6300 each when their case was heard in Mandurah Magistrates Court.

Eligio Cacapit De Leon and Michael Garcie Lorenzo gave endorsed guilty pleas.

Senior Fisheries Officer Darren Harbord said the men were with a large group of people at Warrangup Springs, Dawesville on January 25.

He said they had scoop nets and 131 blue manna crabs, 116 of which were undersized. The undersized crabs ranged from 95mm to 126mm.
