The first-aid course involves two days of training provided by Brain Ambulance.
Calvary co-ordinator Lisa Dunne said there was an increased number of clients coming to Calvary and other services with mental health issues.
It was important to ensure staff are trained in this area so they can provide the best service to clients, she said.
Calvary Youth Services organised the training through Brain Ambulance and invited a number of local organisations to purchase places in the training for their staff.
Staff from Pat Thomas House, Passages Resource Centre, Wanslea, Interchange, Peel Youth Services and Halls Head College attended.
Calvary Youth Services staff hope to bring other identified training to the Peel region in a similar format.
