The craft-orientated seniors have been meeting regularly to create individual handmade wreaths that will be the focal point of the remembrance commemorations at the home.

Service manager Christina Venables said the craft group was a talented bunch of seniors.

“Our residents have been making the most wonderful wreaths which will be used during our ceremony to remember those who served our country during times of conflict and crisis and to reflect on their sacrifices,” she said.

“The ladies who are carefully making them are a truly dedicated group who are incredibly determined and strong.”
