Michelle Sidebottom new community representative on Peel Development Commission board

MICHELLE Sidebottom is the new community representative on the board of Peel Development Commission.

She is one of two community representatives, along with two local government representatives and two Ministerially appointed representatives on the six-strong board.

Ms Sidebottom brings to the role strong business experience having worked in the private sector and with peak industry associations and local State and Federal government agencies.

She is currently managing director of Breakaway Tourism Pty Ltd, a project management and consultancy firm specialising in tourism, hospitality, events, recreation, senior living, training and work force development.

Ms Sidebottom has designed, developed and implemented local to major state-wide business and workforce development projects.

She has lived and worked across Australia, Japan and Malaysia and is currently a Peel resident.

Commission chair Paddi Creevey said Ms Sidebottom would be a highly valuable asset to the Commission with her diverse set of skills, knowledge and networks.
