The incident took place outside Mandurah Court and the police station.

Acting Senior Sergeant Rob Wilson said it was a bit different from the mobile barbecue picnic tables usually seen on Australia Day.

“It is really dangerous, particularly for people with mobility problems,” Sen Sgt Wilson said.

“It is not licensed and is towing an unlicensed trailer.

“It is not roadworthy.”

Sen Sgt Wilson said seniors were also vulnerable to serious injuries in traffic crashes.

While police are not investigating the incident, Sen Sgt Wilson urged people to find legal ways to move furniture.
