EMERGING Greenfields model and fashion designer Tia Semi has been nominated as a finalist for The Mission Australia Cultural Endeavours Award as a part of the WA Youth Awards.
Ms Semi has used her career as a model and designer to travel across WA as well as internationally.
This year has been a breakout year for her as she showcased her designs in three Indigenous and Pacific Island runway events.

Ms Semi is particularly proud of her Samoan heritage, which inspires her clothing designs.
She regularly participates in Samoan dance and has put on runways as part of Samoan Independence Day in Perth.
Ms Semi is passionate about inspiring others to follow their dreams, especially those who live with disabilities. She is an advocate for never giving up, even if that means failing at first.
The winners will be announced on October 25 at the State Theatre Centre in Perth.
