Motorcyclist dies in freeway crash

A 76-YEAR-OLD Mandurah man has died after being involved in a three-vehicle crash.

Major crash officers are trying to figure out what happened in the fatal crash, which occurred in Hammond Park on Sunday morning.

It occurred about 10.40am in the northbound lanes of the Kwinana Freeway near Rowley Road.

Police say a black Triumph motorcycle, driven by the Mandurah man, a black Jeep Grand Cherokee and a blue Chrysler PT Cruiser were involved in a collision.

The Mandurah man was taken to hospital but later died.

Police would like to speak to anyone that saw the crash or who may have dash camera footage of any of the vehicles prior to the incident.
