Murray shuttle bus trial to begin next week

A SHUTTLE bus service will start in the Murray on Wednesday, October 12, following requests from the community for increased transport options.

The trial service will link with existing Transperth services and provide an opportunity for residents who currently have no public transport options to access two services throughout the week and one on weekends.

One return service to Pinjarra from Coolup, Dwellingup, North Dandalup and North Pinjarra will operate on both a Wednesday and Friday.

Shire president Maree Reid said the Friday service would be about two hours longer to allow residents to use Transperth services to access facilities in the Mandurah area and beyond.

A Saturday return service to Mandurah Forum and Mandurah train station from each Murray locality would also be provided as part of the trial.

Timetables, fare information and pick-up and drop-off locations are online at www.murray.wa.gov.au.
