MURRAY school students joined peers from across Australia to celebrate books, literacy as well as Australian authors and illustrators as part of Book Week 2018.

The program, hosted by Murray Library, saw more than 350 primary school students and more than 50 high school students meet respected Australian authors for first hand accounts of their literacy journeys and captivating characters and stories.

The program kicked off at Pinjarra Primary School where Mark Greenwood visited year 4 students and held creative writing sessions with years 8 and 9 at Pinjarra High School.
