THE Peel-Harvey Catchment Council has a new look, revealing a fresh corporate identity this week which reflects the unique geographic and physical elements of the Peel-Harvey catchment.
Peel-Harvey Catchment Council chairman Andy Gulliver said the new brand will help to strengthen recognition and raise awareness of the work undertaken by the PHCC across the catchment.
“The Peel Harvey has been officially recognised by the Australian Government as the 55th Natural Resource Management region in Australia. This gives our region national status and we felt it was time for a re-fresh,” Mr Gulliver said.
“The new brand is a fresh, consistent look.
“The logo colours are inspired by the richness of our natural assets and are supported by symbols that represent the key areas of the Peel Harvey region; water, biodiversity, agriculture, Ramsar, culture, community and science.
“The logo’s design represents a catchment and its people, both integral to each other.”
Mr Gulliver said the logo was symbolic of the shared vision for natural resource management in the Peel-Harvey catchment.
