New pastor installed

The Reverend Julian Bell was recently installed by Ministers of the Presbytery of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Born and educated in the UK, he grew up in Africa and Malaysia.

Mr Bell migrated to Australia at 17, converted at 22 and undertook theological training in Sydney.

He enjoys motorcycle riding, fishing and golf.

With wife Sue, Mr Bell ministered for 20 years at Newtown in inner-city Sydney, later moving to WA where they have been involved in Christian ministry at Kelmscott, Maida Vale and Mt Lawley. Mr Bell is involved in regularly training preachers and pastors in Myanmar.

His wife is a midwife at Armadale Health Service and they have seven grandchildren.

The Western Presbyterian Church meets in the Nellie Regan Hall, Peel Street, every Sunday at 10am.
