No Room for Tears: Lake Clifton mother launching first book

LAKE Clifton mother Kayla Croft will be launching her first book No Room for Tears on Saturday night.

Mrs Croft quit her job as technician at Alcoa several years ago to pursue her dream of becoming an author.

“I put pen to reams of paper and wrote my first book,” she said.

“What an amazing journey – though painstaking and slow at times, too… but I did learn the virtue of patience.”

Mrs Croft is inviting members of the public to her book launch to help her celebrate.

“Come along and help me celebrate five years of hard work: writing, editing, then publishing my first book,” she said.

“There will be book signings, books for sale, freebies, door prizes, a photo booth and more.”
