MANDURAH Baptist College Year 6 student Kai Bartusch can count up his awards with pride.
Being nifty with numbers resulted in several accolades for Kai recently, including a Prudence Award and a high distinction in the Australian Mathematics Competition.
This high achievement places Kai in the top 2 per cent of his year group in Western Australia.
Also this year, Kai received a 2015 Australian Maths Olympiad Award for scoring in the top 10 per cent in Australia.
Last week Kai was an integral part of the MBC Team which won the Coastal Numero Heat. The team will compete in the State Numero final this Thursday.
