OAKWOOD Primary School’s playground at Meadow Springs will soon be a blooming good spot.

The school received a grant from the Australian Science Teachers Association to run activities with kindy and pre-primary students during Science Week and an arrangement was made with Bunnings to create a sensory garden in the playground.

The sensory garden will be adjacent to a nature playground in the primary school area when the school is opened next year.

An oak tree will be planted in the nature playground in honour of the school’s name.
