Ocean Road PS’s Year 5 and 6 students paint up a storm

OCEAN Road Primary School Year 5 and 6 students were involved in a paint storm.

Students enjoyed speed painting and a performance by artist Phil Doncon.

Paint Storm is an energetic and highly entertaining performance to dynamic music.

Mr Doncon created his colourful interpretation of responsibility on a huge 10m-wide canvas.

“It’s about building a great team. You need to work well together to get this right,” he said.

“It is ok to make mistakes. You just keep going and work on it.”

The art incursion was part of Ocean Road’s ORCA program, which is supported by the City of Mandurah’s Creative Mandurah Grant Program.
