A COMMUNITY is heartbroken following the death of 17-year-old Kimberley Berente who died after her car rolled in Bouvard on Tuesday afternoon.

Tragically the teen had just got her licence.

Panicked friends took to social media in the hours after the crash – asking if anyone had heard from Ms Berente and her friends Tayah Coates (16) and Savannah O’Meara (16) who were travelling in the car with her.

Ms Coates and Ms O’Meara survived the crash.

Ms Berente’s best friend Helena Matthews took to social media to describe her lucky escape.

“You will always be in my heart, you precious precious soul,” she wrote.

“She even asked me to come into the car today with her, I thank god that I didn’t but I now blame myself a little for not being there with her.”

Other friend described Ms Berente as “gorgeous” and a beautiful soul who will “never be forgotten”.
