KWINANA FREEWAY northbound has been closed from Manjoogoordap Road down to Ravenswood due to a bushfire in Parklands, near Mandurah.
There’s no threat to lives or homes, but there is a lot of smoke in the area.
While there is no immediate danger, Parklands residents are asked to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.

The bushfire is moving fast in a east north easterly direction towards Kwinana Freeway.
It is out of control and unpredictable.
Fifty career and volunteer Fire and Rescue Service and Bush Fire Service firefighters from number of brigades are on the scene.
Firefighters are actively fighting the fire and installing containment lines.
City of Mandurah staff members are also in attendance.
The incident was reported at 12.20pm.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
People are asked to report any suspicious behaviour to Police Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Further road closures are available via Main Roads.
