LOCAL businesses in the Peel region will be able to register their details for the forthcoming Peel Business Park land development works.

Peel Development Commission (PDC) is calling for businesses in the Peel to join the Peel-based business register.

PDC chairman Paddi Creevey said the Transform Peel project, incorporating development of the Peel Business Park, would contribute significantly to the economic development of the region and the register was an important step in ensuring local business was given every opportunity to contribute and benefit.

The register will include indigenous and local businesses operating across a broad range of areas from civic construction, landscaping and site works to support services such as caterers, skill and plant hire.

The business park is part of Peel Development Commission’s Transform Peel project – a 35 year program projected to culminate in a $16.2 billion a year economic output and up to 33,000 jobs by completion in 2050.

LandCorp, a Peel Business Park partner, has engaged Nudge to consult on the project and will be managing the collection of information for the local business directorate on behalf of LandCorp.

For more information or to join the register, contact Nudge at enquiries@nudge.ngo or 9323 6378.

Registrations close on September 30.
