PEEL Health Campus will have a completely revamped emergency department after the State Government today revealed a $5 million upgrade.

The investment is in addition to $4.4 million announced in the 2018/19 State Budget.

The new design will improve patient flow, provide greater privacy and create a more pleasant environment in which to work and be treated.

There will be eight new beds in the short stay unit as well as a new fast-track patient zone and a redesigned and refurbished waiting room.
