THE spotlight was on staff wellbeing at Peel Health Campus for RUOK? Day on Thursday .
Staff enjoyed a sausage sizzle and raised awareness about mental health.
The day is designed to bring attention to how colleagues, friends and relatives can assist those around them by starting a conversation, and simply asking RUOK?
Human Resources manager Sian Grandin said staff wellbeing was an important issue to Ramsay Health Care.
“RUOK Day is about much more than providing staff with a free lunch,” she said.
“It’s about encouraging everyone to take time out of their day and to come together.
“It’s about starting a simple face to face conversation.
“Just taking a minute to ask someone if they are ok could have a dramatic impact on their mental health or even save a life.”
