Peel Health Campus staff go pink for breast cancer awareness

Vanessa SchmittMandurah Coastal Times

NURSES and staff at Peel Health Campus sported pink McGrath breast care socks while hosting a morning tea and raffle to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.

The foundation raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia, as well as increasing breast awareness in young Australian women.

The hospital’s onsite McGrath Breast Care nurse Donna Cook said she was thrilled by the support shown by the Peel Health Campus staff.

“The McGrath breast cancer service helps to empower women who are suffering and make sure they are informed, connected and have a voice,” she said.
