BELINDA Beatty will be the guest speaker at Peel Zonta Club’s International Women’s Day breakfast in Mandurah on March 8.
Beatty graduated Number 2 Flying Training School (2FTS) as part of the 207 Pilots’ Course in 2006 after completing a BTech Av degree at the Australian Defence Force Academy.
She completed her first tour at 38 SQN in Townsville on the Super King Air, where she most enjoyed the challenging flying provided by operating in Papua New Guinea and participating in international exercises.

After a tour instructing the Wings course at 2FTS, she and husband Stephen took eight months leave to sail halfway around the world in a rally of cruising yachts. She is now working for 2FTS in Standards and Innovation Flight on a number of projects in the gender and diversity arenas, as well as ground-based instructional duties.
The breakfast will be is at the Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club at 6.45am for 7am.
