The event is being funded from a share in more than $70,000 in State Government grants to deliver National Youth Week events.

The grants fund activities and events that place young people at the centre of their planning and implementation.

In Mandurah, the council will host theatre and art workshops, sporting and creative activities, skill-building and a talent quest.

The Shire of Waroona, with the Waroona Youth Advisory Council, will host the Waroona Youth Action Event, featuring BMX and skate competitions, music, art workshops and health and wellbeing sessions.
