Pinjarra Men’s Shed gets money for a new shed

Jill BurgessMandurah Coastal Times

PINJARRA Men’s Shed has received a $22,500 Lotterywest grant towards establishment of the shed.

The funding will go towards costs associated with construction of the facility, due to be completed and opened later this year.

Murray-Wellington MLA Robyn Clarke said the men’s shed was a project many in the community were passionate about.

“Since the Pinjarra Men’s Shed formed last year, I have been meeting with them regularly, so I know how hard all members have been working,’’ she said. “Men’s sheds hold an important place in regional communities by supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing.”
