The prizemoney was shared among 23 members, so they each took home just over $70,000.
The syndicate had been running for 23 years and it finally won on a Slikpik 50 ticket.
The members said it was great to share the win with their mates. Their wish lists included a brand new Harley Davidson, boats, renovations, investments and cars.
The lucky ticket was for the Saturday Lotto Superdraw on September 21, and was bought from Meadow Springs Lottery Centre and Newsagency.
The outlet has experienced a run of Lotto luck over the past few years. Last year, the outlet sold a $3.3 million Division One Lotto ticket in May. In 2011, the store sold a $350,390 ticket in March followed by a $2.1 million winning ticket in May.
Earlier this year, the Peel Preservation Group received a $5029 Lotterywest Grant towards equipment to help with the group’s water testing and monitoring activities.
