ZAMBRERO’S Pinjarra staff members took part in a head-shaving event for four-year-old Bayden Licciardello, who has acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Bayden is the cousin of Zambrero’s employee Rhiannon Dunne, who would visit Bayden in hospital then go to work afterwards.

This inspired Zeke Cross to raise money for Bayden who, despite being in remission, will not be cleared of cancer for another five years.

“It’s pretty heartbreaking seeing him up there,” Ms Dunne said.

Ms Dunne said the money would help her aunt, who has three other children living in Yarloop, while she stays closer to Perth with Bayden.

Mr Cross estimated that the event fundraised about $200 to $300.

They are still taking donations until the end of April at https://www.gofundme.com/shave-for-the-brave-little-bayden.
