Police claim a speeding motorcycle rider attempted to flee

A MAN in his 20s is facing multiple traffic and drug charges after being arrested at the intersection of Mandurah Road and Allnut Street, Mandurah.

The incident occurred at about 12.30pm after an unmarked police car spotted a motorcycle that had been allegedly observed speeding down Sticks Boulevard in Erskine.

Police claim that when they pulled in front of the motorcycle at the lights on Mandurah Road, the rider tried to go around them and flee.

During the alleged attempt to flee, the rider dropped the bike and was arrested.
