POPULAR police dog Rumble is currently in the Murdoch Veterinary Hospital after succumbing to a serious illness.
He has been ill for several days.
A police spokeswoman said Rumble was getting the best care and attention possible.
“His handler is with him and we are yet to hear exactly what the source of the medical issue is,” she said.

One of Rumble’s latest jobs was helping find Brett Lindsay Capper in Baldivis after a five-day man hunt. Mr Capper was charged with a string of offences including a jar jacking in Halls Head and a hold-up in Dawesville.
