Police investigating serious crash in Dawesville

POLICE are investigating a crash in Dawesville yesterday that left three teenagers seriously injured, with one of them fighting for life in hospital.

About 8.30am, a white Honda Civic was travelling along Dawesville Road when the driver lost control of the car near Ewing Street.

The car left the road and struck a tree.

A 14-year-old girl who was a passenger in the back of the Honda received life-threatening injuries.

She was flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter.

The 16-year-old male driver received serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

A 14-year-old girl who was the front passenger in the car also received serious injuries and was taken to Peel Health Campus.
