Police looking for youths after armed robbery

POLICE are looking for four youths who threatened teenage fisherman with a machete in Dawesville on Sunday November 10.

About 3.15 pm four teenage boys were fishing off a jetty on Estuary Road, 300 metres north of the Dawesville Foreshore Reserve.

They were threatened by four males aged between 17 and 21 years old, one armed with a machete and another with a bottle.

They stole phones, cash and jewellery before leaving the area in an older model, dark Subaru Forester.

The car was described as dark in colour with faded paint down the side and a travel pod/plastic case on the roof.

The car was displaying red ‘P’ plates and had a possible partial registration of ‘WR’.

The vehicle was seen camping in the Dawesville area.
