Police release images of men wanted in relation to elder assault and gopher theft

MANDURAH Detectives need information in relation to the theft of a gopher from a 73-year-old Mandurah woman on April 13.

It was around 5pm, when the elderly woman was covering her gopher, which was parked on the front porch of her Mandurah Terrace home, when she was confronted by two men.

One man pushed the woman into her house before hitting her on the head with an unknown object.

When she regained consciousness she realised various items had been stolen including her handbag and jewellery with great sentimental value.

The woman was taken by ambulance to the Peel Health Campus where she was treated for her injuries.

Detectives released composite images of two men they believe would be able to help with their investigation.

The man who assaulted her is described as late 20s, dark skinned, approximately 183cms tall with a solid build.

He was wearing dark coloured tracksuit pants and top.

The second man is described as around the same age, dark skinned, approximately 180cms tall, with dark hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper and tracksuit pants.
