Police seek driver who ran from car crash

TRAFFIC Enforcement Group officers are investigating a traffic crash in Baldivis early this morning.

Police said two vehicles collided near the intersection of Safety Bay and Mandurah Roads at 12.30am.

A grey Hyundai i30 hatchback crashed with a black Ford Focus, causing the Ford Focus to leave the road and come to rest down an embankment.

The driver of the Hyundai i30 ran from the scene after the crash. Two female passengers inside the Hyundai received minor injuries. The occupants of the Ford, a male and female also received minor injuries. All were taken to hospital by St John Ambulance for a medical assessment.

Police would like anyone who saw the crash, has dash-cam footage from the vicinity around the time of the crash, or who knows the identity of the driver who left the scene, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at Crime Stoppers.
